Experience

I'm a tutor with a vast array of experiences working with students. I spent time as a tour guide, and a counselor at a summer camp focused on the marvels of Science. I taught reading skills and English to South Korean students. I've worked with students in special education as a paraprofessional, and coached soccer. I've taught kids the mental and physical instruction of Tae Kwon Do. I've also served as a teacher's assistant to college students, helping them with study skills, Political Science, and Anthropology assignments.One of the attributes that make me an ideal tutor is my talent of assessing a student's individual skill level and learning style. I work with the student to create a study and tutoring plan that aligns with their individual need. I keep abreast of tutoring and teaching techniques that are proven successful in improving the learning experience for students. I implement scaffolding teaching methods and other successful techniques to improve my student's educational experience. A few of the many subjects I'm skilled at tutoring include Reading, Writing, Psychology, Anthropology, Business, Music, Science, and Vocabulary.I like to spend my free time playing music, exercising, doing Taekwondo, and learning more about computers and the arts.
